Atelier Macramè è il progetto di Laura Calligari, designer e fondatrice del magazine online  Arredativo: un percorso di ricerca, nato per approfondire tecnologie  e materiali, che si sviluppa attraverso collezioni ispirate alla semplicità e alle tradizioni del quotidiano, realizzate con il supporto di artigiani che esprimono l’eccellenza manifatturiera in oggetti di design contemporaneo.  Ogni collezione racconta una storia, una suggestione, una memoria che parte da lontano e si concretizza in oggetti semplici e d’uso comune, al tempo stesso in grado di fare compagnia. Attraverso l’uso e l’interpretazione di forme, colori e materiali nascono prodotti nuovi, spesso multiuso, che  rispondono alle esigenze contemporanee.

Dopo gli studi in architettura Laura muove i primi passi nel mondo del design e nel 2010 fonda il magazine online Arredativo. Dopo alcuni anni nasce il progetto Atelier Macramè attraverso cui la designer esprime tutta la sua sensibilità e conoscenza professionale nel settore dell’arredo. Nel 2016, una delle collezioni da lei ideate,  Bakery Stool, è  tra i progetti selezionati per la mostra W. Women in Italian Design alla Triennale di Milano.

Laura Calligari, designer and founder of the blog Arredativo, is Atelier Macramè a design project that researches technologies and materials developed  through collections inspired by the simplicity and traditions of everyday life, created with the support of artisans who express manufacturing excellence in contemporary design objects. Each collection tells a story, a suggestion, a memory that starts as just a thought, and then takes on the form of simple, common objects, at the same time able to keep company. Through the use and interpretation of shapes, colors and materials, new, often multi-purpose products are created that respond to contemporary needs.

After studying architecture, Laura took her first steps in the design world and in 2010 she founded the online magazine Arredativo. After a few years the Atelier Macramè project was born, through which the designer expresses all her sensibility and professional knowledge in the furnishing sector. In 2016, one of the collections she conceived, Bakery Stool, is among the projects selected for the exhibition W. Women in Italian Design at the Triennale di Milano
